A music-inspired first-person drive through an imagined future. The story follows a drive home, a self-building bridge and an accident that turns a technical experiment into a lesson about production discipline.
Concept and narrative
The animation moves from a futuristic tunnel toward a bridge that constructs itself ahead of the vehicle. The drive-home scenario gives the environment a point of view and creates tension when the bridge sequence fails and the journey ends in an accident.
Production
Kai created the 3D animation in Autodesk Maya and assembled the edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. Music was an important prompt for the pace and atmosphere of the visual journey.
Technical learning
A constraints/history issue disrupted the bridge setup. The experience reinforced two practical habits: increment versions and save regularly, especially before changing construction history or dependency-heavy animation rigs.
